Scheduling & Payment

To schedule services, please use the contact form or email directly.

I accept Zelle, Venmo, and CashApp.

I require payment at the time of booking to secure your booking.

 

*For new clients, I will require payment after the meet and greet is completed.

Meet & Greet

 

The goal of this meeting is for the client to explain all the home and pets’ routines and make sure both parties are the right fit. During this time, the Client Profile and Cancellation Policy will be reviewed.

Home Entry/Keys

 

It is up to the client’s discretion to provide working methods of entry. It is the client’s responsibility to make sure that all keys, garage codes, garage door openers, keypads, etc. are in working condition prior to leaving. I am not responsible for faulty keys, etc.

Pet & House Cleanup

 

I will properly dispose of pet waste and do my best to clean up any accidents client pet may have. Sandy Paws Pet Care is not responsible for carpet/flooring stains created by client pet(s). I do request that client provide plastic bags, towels, cleaning products, paper towels, trash bags and indicate where client would like the waste disposed of.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

 

Non-holiday bookings: A seven (7) day advance notice is required for cancellations to be refunded. Cancellations made less than seven (7) days to 48 hours in advance of the service date will receive credit toward future services. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the service date will not be refunded nor credited. 

Holiday bookings: A 14-day advance notice is required for holiday cancellations to be refunded.

Holidays include:

-The day before and the day after Thanksgiving (beginning Wednesday and ending Friday)

-The week of Christmas (beginning Monday) through New Years Day

-Memorial Day Weekend

-Independence Day Weekend

-Labor Day Weekend

*Any cancellation made less than 14 days before the service date will not be refunded nor credited. Early return does not constitute a refund for services not used, as I cannot be booked on those dates for other clients’ services.

*Acts of God will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

*Unused account credits expire after 6 months.

Emergency Veterinary Care

 

In the event of a medical emergency, Sandy Paws Pet Care is authorized by client to seek emergency veterinary care with release from all liabilities related to transportation, treatment and expense. Should specified veterinarian be unavailable, Sandy Paws Pet Care is authorized to approve medical and/or emergency treatment (excluding euthanasia) as recommended by a veterinarian. If after-hours care is needed, transportation charges to Apple Valley Animal Emergency Clinic will apply. Clients will be contacted in the event of an emergency by phone, email, and text for direction from the client. It is the client’s responsibility to have payment on file with your veterinarian/emergency veterinarian of choice. We suggest contacting your veterinarian before departing to let them know that Sandy Paws Pet Care will be caring for your pet(s) during your specified vacation schedule and authorizing payment.
